Our principle objective at ACTIVE LEARNING is to TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO LEARN. We equip students from the age of twelve with the study methods and techniques that will enable them to compete favourably at the highest academic and professional level . The course in its entirety is not subject-orientated but the techniques and methods are applicable to all subjects . Only graduate teachers of the highest quality are selected and trained to present the course .

The skills and techniques that we teach are the result of intensive research. When learning actively , as opposed to passively , one is stimulating an electro-chemical process in one's brain , which is called a memory trace . This is the information storing mechanism that can be created at will , which facilitates phenomenal and immediate learning capabilities . Learning is not an innate characteristic that cannot be improved . By understanding learning and how to manage it , there can be significant reductions in study time and improvements in retention and recall , as well as increased motivation amongst students
