Efficient Listening and Thinking
A point missed or not properly understood will prevent the student from understanding. Indeed, if a student has failed to understand parts early on in the lecture his attention will wander off the subject completely, with the result that the whole lesson is wasted. Students are taught how to hone their listening skills by questioning, building new knowledge onto existing knowledge and listening for cue words to sharpen their attention on important information being communicated.

Efficient Listening Notes, concise summarisation, keywords. Main concepts, new ideas .
Efficient thinking Logic versus original thought, communication, interpretation, Organize, categorize ,thought versus fact assimilation.

Students are trained to think laterally, logically, critically, cognitively and with discipline.
